There is always something to do on our estate. From simple daily tasks like garden maintenance, stacking wood and caring for animals, to bigger tasks like carpentry, painting and bricklaying. Whether you come for two weeks or stay longer, we will find a task that suits you together. Everyone can contribute, regardless of experience or background.
View projectsWe are a warm and welcoming family of eight, spread across three generations. We live close to nature in the beautiful village of Boijl, on the edge of the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. We are not an organization, just a family that loves welcoming people from all over the world. We believe that working, cooking and sharing stories together is the best way to learn from each other.
About us
During your stay you live in your own comfortable caravan on our property, a peaceful, cozy spot all to yourself. The shower, toilet and washing machine are a short walk away in a nearby outbuilding. Bedding, towels and WiFi are included. We eat meals together as much as possible, and you are warmly welcome to enjoy our garden and the peace of the countryside.

We ask for a minimum commitment of 1 week. Most volunteers stay 4–6 weeks, some stay up to 3 months.
No experience needed! We provide guidance for all tasks. Enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and a positive attitude are most important.
We provide everyone with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Yes! We have reliable WiFi in the farmhouse. The caravan also has coverage.
